As Executive Vice President of Construction Operations, Dave brings more than 30 years of construction/development experience involving all aspect of planning, design, and construction for Signature Development Group projects. He has extensive experience in project design, environmental remediation, horizontal and vertical construction as well as budget management, value engineering, and cost controls. Dave has worked in all facets of Bay Area real estate construction and development including large scale apartments, hotel, masterplan communities and single-family homes.
As part of Signature Development Group’s founding team, Dave manages the company’s construction department and all construction operations for SDG. This includes participation in the selection of the architectural firm, engineering team and the general contractor, always with close involvement and oversight of the bidding of the projects to subcontractors. Dave has a hands-on approach to management and knows all of the subcontractors and their teams. Dave is also known to roll up his sleeves and tackling problems with all parties involved.
Previously, Dave was Vice President of Operations with Signature Properties for over 20 years. In addition to construction, he is responsible for purchasing, land development, warranty, and customer service. Dave has led the construction and development of thousands of homes, various multi-family projects, and multiple commercial developments throughout the Bay Area. His projects have varied from complex urban infill to multi-thousand home master-planned communities. Dave has also been responsible for building over 8,000 lots in more than 50 projects, and has supervised more than $500 million worth of infrastructure and $1 billion in vertical construction.
